The primary objective of the Training and Placement Cell of VITS is not only to produce quality manpower, but also to guide and shape the career of the students. The Placement Cell aims to match the requirements of the Corporate World with the aspirations of the students thereby facilitating the achievement of synergy between the two. It facilitates recruitment events on-campus as well as off-campus as required. It also organizes various pre-placement training programmes to enhance the employability of the targeted students.

VITS is more keen to learn faculties from outside environment for the the sake of knowledge and developements. VITS always try to get resources for their faculties to run with technology and motivations for synchronizing with existing scenario. Different FDPs are conducted on various engineering and management fields.

Hands on experience in respective field and stream is provided to students through summer ineternship projects. Students are sent to various companies where they work on live projects and acquire valuable insight on corporate culture and working system.

It is the annual cultural fest of the campus which gives opportunity to students to portray their talent in dance, singing, acting, modelling, etc. All the talented candidates who have achieved a valuable position in any of the fields are awarded in this event.

It is the annual techno-management fest that enriches the technical and management skills of students and followed by the award ceremony appreciating the students.

The Engineering and Management students of VITS are taken to various industries to study the operations and manage real functions . The students relate theoretical understanding with practical insights during such visits and become industry read.

Apart from course carriculam VITS is the only institution which gives the regular gate classes for their engineering students.

The institute organizes face to face interactive sessions with bureaucrats and senior government officials who have themselves qualified competitive exams such as Union Public Service Commission and State Public Service Commission. During such sessions, the experts not only share their journey and experiences with aspiring minds but also provide vital inputs on handling pressure and stress. Apart from this, training sessions and subject inputs are provided to aspiring students, and mock-tests are also organized. Overall, students who wish to serve the nation through government jobs are encouraged and guided.
