The college sport committee, also known as the sports council or sports committee, plays a pivotal role in organizing and overseeing sports-related activities and events within the college.

Role & Responsibilities:

Leadership Roles: The committee is usually structured with key positions such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and various coordinators for specific sports or events. Each role has distinct responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the sportcommittee.
Event Planning and Coordination: Organizing intra-college and inter-college sports events, tournaments, and matches. This includes scheduling, venue booking, team registrations, and logistics management.
Facilities Management: Ensuring sports facilities are well-maintained, accessible, and equipped with necessary gear and safety measures.
Team Management: Overseeing college sports teams, including selection, coaching, and support for training and development.
Promotion and Publicity: Marketing sports events, activities, and achievements within the college community and beyond. This may involve using social media, posters, and campus announcements.
Finance Management: Handling budgets, sponsorships, fundraising, and financial reporting related to sports activities.
